    2025-04-15

From April 7th to 13th, 2025, the 6th China Structural Heart Disease Conference and the 2025 Ultrasound Interventional Surgery Vehicle Launch Ceremony – a United Nations Global Sustainable Development Plan promotion project – was grandly held in Beijing. Global top experts gathered together to jointly map out a new blueprint for cardiovascular diagnosis and treatment. During the conference, Guangtai Medical's mobile surgical unit became a core highlight of the conference, not only supporting the "2025 Ultrasound Interventional Surgery Vehicle Global Launch Ceremony", but also showcasing the power of "Made in China" to the world through the grassroots practice of Jiangxi Provincial People's Hospital, helping to usher in a new era of "global home-based surgery".

Academician Hu Shengshou, President of the National Center for Cardiovascular Diseases and President of Fuwai Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, delivered an opening address. Subsequently, the opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Pan Xiangbin, Executive Chairman of the Conference, Chief Technical Advisor of the United Nations, and Vice President of Fuwai Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences.

Leaders and experts present jointly witnessed the United Nations Global Sustainable Development Plan promotion project. "3, 2, 1 Launch!" With the countdown, invited guests jointly inserted the key into the launch vehicle, starting the journey of the 2025 Ultrasound Interventional Surgery Vehicle's global tour.

Afterwards, the large screen connected in real-time the Guangtai Medical surgical vehicle production base in Weihai, Shandong, the return site of the ultrasound interventional surgery vehicle in Bangladesh, and the surgical vehicle medical team from Jiangxi Provincial People's Hospital to Shangrao. In the production base shown in the connected images, ultrasound interventional surgery vehicles were neatly arranged and ready to go, and the general manager of Guangtai Medical introduced the various advanced technologies of "Made in China" used in the surgical vehicles; at the Shanghai port, the surgical vehicle, responding to the national "One Belt, One Road" initiative, successfully completed its mission and officially returned from Bangladesh; while in Poyang, Shangrao, Jiangxi, the medical team, relying on the ultrasound interventional surgery vehicle, actively carried out medical services in rural villages.

This ultrasound interventional surgery vehicle, known as a "mobile micro-hospital," integrates Guangtai Medical's self-developed energy storage power supply, laminar flow purification, and cabin expansion technology, and is also equipped with information technology to ensure the smooth progress of ultrasound interventional surgery in complex environments. It transforms cardiovascular surgery from the traditional model to "home-based surgery," demonstrating the achievements of new productive forces. This "love caravan" crosses mountains and seas, with ultrasound-guided technology as its core, bringing high-quality medical resources from domestic to international areas, bringing hope to patients in many places.

Currently, Guangtai Medical has delivered five surgical vehicles to the Cherish Life Foundation, and will deliver another five by the end of this year. Looking to the future, Guangtai Medical plans to deeply integrate existing surgical robots and other artificial intelligence technologies, as well as AR remote teaching technology, into mobile surgical units. At the same time, it will actively expand cooperation with countries along the "One Belt, One Road", fully promoting the construction process of the "community of human health", contributing a unique and intelligent "China solution" to global sustainable development, and allowing high-quality medical resources to benefit every inch of the world.
